KARNAL: Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who held his first public meeting in Karnal, laid the roadmap for effective and transparent governance in Haryana claiming that his government would take all decisions keeping in mind the finances so that state the could be put on the road to recovery.
Addressing a press conference during his visit to Karnal on Saturday, Khattar promised that BJP would establish a people-friendly government that would be committed to overall development of the state. He asserted that 10 days of his government could not be compared with the 10-year rule of the Congress in Haryana. "The results of the changed administration would be visible in next few months," he said.
Thousands of people reached to meet the CM with their complaints at the rest house.
The CM added that he would stay connected with the people of Karnal through the 'CM window' that being set up in the district mini-secretariat.
Khattar said that a plan was being chalked out to develop Karnal into a tourism hub. He made an appeal to the BJP workers and asked the administration to continue the cleanliness drive till November 30.
In reply to a query, Khattar reiterated that in case of Robert Vadra land deals and the multi-crore pension fraud that was unearthed in Karnal few days back, law would take its own course and anyone found guilty would face action.
